What Cancer Cannot Do

From the Pink Ribbon book Miss Heidi from Vera Bradley Foundation of Breast Cancer sent me...

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited.
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot destroy peace.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot steal eternal life.
It cannot conquer the spirit.

Days 5 and 6 have been good. Still no taste buds, ear still infected, joints kinda hurt, port wont stop bleeding - but I am in the greatest mood Ive been all week and for that, I cant complain. Getting my arm sleeve and glove for lymphedema prevention tomorrow.

Goodnight all!

Oh, Cathy! I just found out from Donna that you had cancer, and I have this awful lump in my throat thinking about all of the pain that you've had to endure. I know we've fallen out of touch for years, but I still can't help feeling so sad knowing that you have to deal with this. I just wanted you to know that my thoughts are with you, and that I'm here if you ever want to talk to someone (I've rather missed talking to you throughout the years...)

Cathy you seem to have very uplifted spirits. That's fabulous! My great aunt had breast cancer and she is currently a breast cancer survivor.
